On December 1st City Council met to swear in the newly elected (or re-elected in the Case of Tom Vanover and Holly McQuillan-Emerson) City Council members. There were four official matters of business this night two proclamations commending the outgoing members (Bob Diehl and Marjorie Harlow – both will be missed at council meetings!) and the election within council for the new Council President (Tom Vanover) and Council Vice-President (Lawrence Hawkins III) – all approved by unanimous consent.
