Cincinnati Mills / Forest Fair Mall Re-Development Update

Attention Neighbors – especially Beacon Hills!

Back in February I shared an update on the work being done in Fairfield and Forest Park on the Forest Fair Mall / Cincinnati Mills mall redevelopment.
At the recent July 2nd Springdale City Council meeting there was an update shared by way of Forest Park on the redeveloping their mall – and there is a great deal of improvement from past plans.
  • Rather than multiple buildings the current plan is one
  • The setback from our neighborhood is much improved
  • There is no parking planned on the residential facing side
  • The commitment on the privacy barrier along the property line is improved
  • All in all very positive and I continue to be appreciative of Forest Park’s leadership being willing to listen and work with us. This is still going through approvals and can change – their next planning meeting on it is July 8th and I will share more as it progresses.
It is a great example of how being engaged and showing up makes a difference!
